Hi everyone!
Hope your Christmas was as wonderfully special as mine! It was lovely to have Stace & Jono sleep over Christmas Eve … and then share Christmas Day with Gav’s family … and Boxing Day with mine! I feel very spoilt … and really enjoyed the special effort that went into all the delicious goodies … that we indulged in for 2 1/2 days!!! I hope you also found time to think about the real significance of Christmas … and the wonderful gift of our Saviour! I am so very thankful that I am able to acknowledge all of God’s blessings on our “not so little” family and know that He will continue to comfort, strengthen, teach, guide and care for us in the year ahead. I am looking forward to a quieter 2010! Do you think that is possible???
With all the extra days over the Christmas & New Year break … I hope you might find some time to stamp??? What a lovely way to relax after a busy family time! And … I wanted to show you something from the Summer Mini Catalogue and … this time … I am going to show you the FULL set of stamps for this yummy stamp set!!! (Remember I only had scanned 2 stamps out of 5 last time!) So … this is my NEW favourite stamp set … called Razzle Dazzle …
And here is a sample I made for our Summer Mini Launch night. Hhhhmmm … not such pyschadellic colours as last time … but isn’t the monochromatic quite eye catching!!!
And … you can also see that I have added some chocolate supernova glitter as sparkly highlights here and there on the flowers in the circle. But … did you also notice … I have used my BRAND NEW … SUPER EXCITING … Circle Scissors! This is also just available in the Summer Mini Catalogue … but I am sure it will make it’s way into our IB&C in 2010!
Now the secret to using this cutter is … use some Dotto to secure it to your glass mat & DON’T LEAN TOO HEAVILY on it … just let it glide around on the cardstock. If you can remember that … you will just love using this cutter. It is soooooooo much better than my old cutter! Much easier to use! If you would like to see a video tutorial for the Circle Scissors … here is a great one to look at -> Sunny Stampin’ … and … if you would like a great idea about cutting some templates to help you decide sizing … then here is another great video tutorial -> Patty’s Stamping Spot. Aren’t I good to you!!! I have done the “google-ing” for you!!!
So … if you would like to see all the lovely goodies on offer in the Summer Mini Catalogue … then click on this catty pic to view the online catalogue. There are so many gorgeous new products to drool over. Start preparing your wish list … so you can take advantage of Sale-A-Bration which begins on Jan 25! Earn a FREE stamp set with every $100 you spend! All the details for this great promo will be on my SU! demo website from Jan 25!
Ok … so I will leave you alone … now … in the hope that you can “chill-ax” a little. I will be back asap with another treat from this gorgeous Summer Mini! And … I can’t wait to get back to some of the challenges I sooooo love to do! Just need to find a little time! Happy Stamping!

Yummo Andrea. This card looks ao v v delicious. Must be all the Choc Chip u used…LOL!!! Lurvin’ the monochromatic feel of this card. It’s awesome!! You have thought about this card a lot and it shows!! It really is a versatile set huh? I am so v v glad that u had a great Chrissy with all your family.
I am hoping to get some stamping in today..as relos INSIST on having B’days right after Chrissy…LOL!! I got all the last minute stuff done and even used you for inspiration. Will e mail u the result!! Went down a treat. Stay dry, as it is bucketing down here at the mo and have a mojo-licious day. ooxx
Andrea adds: LOL … so glad you are getting to do some stamping … I am one of those relatives who have annoyed all the family by having kids birthdays in January!!! 2 kids on 14th & 1 on the 19th!!! We did some shopping in the sales (the beach day was canned because of the rain!) … Gav & Shane had a couple of gift vouchers … BUT … we were wishing we had decided to do that early enough to make the trek to Sydney. Wollongong shops just DO NOT cut it!!! We had a nice & successful day … and I can’t imagine the last time the 6 of us went shopping together … so I was happy happy happy to have all my family sharing a day together!
LOVE the monochrome look and the top part of the card is my fave! My DD is looking for some wallpaper for her room in a similar design – do you feel like covering 24m2 of wall in this for me – LOL.
xXx
Andrea adds: I would be happy to … if only as an opportunity to meet you IRL!!!
time… if only that were a renewable resource! but alas it is finite! we can not get back time, so we choose our priorities and right now that is my mom (her first Christmas without my dad). i have traveled four hours by train to visit for four days but i so wanted to pack some cardmaking supplies but that would have detracted from my spending time with her. while she appreciates my passion, she does not share an interest in it.
Andrea adds: Totally understand where you are at, Helen … I have similar pulls at my time! But … at least my mum (who is a carer for my dad) is only 5 mins away! And … she is the same … appreciates my passion … but doesn’t do any herself! xxx
