I guess you may have been wondering where I have been? Or … is that just me kidding myself that anyone noticed at all???
Thursday was Zone Swimming Carnival at Nowra (1 hr drive down the coast) with Sandy … then Stace & Jono were here for dinner and then Friday was spent visiting my “gi-gi” upline Onie in Sydney with Pepps (Leonie N) & some other demo-s for a team lesson day. And … then Gav & I caught up with friends for dinner. This morning we have been to Sydney (1 1/2 hr drive) to see Stace & Jono off at the airport … they left at lunch time for 3 1/2 weeks in Canada!!! Sandy had soccer training this arvo … so I popped down to visit my mum & dad … so here I am finally after 3 days of trying to get here!!! Better late than never, I guess … did you miss me?
So … here is another pink card! (Sorry, Lynda!)
You probably all think that pink is my favourite colour … and I wouldn’t blame you for thinking that … BUT … my favourite colour is actually green!!!
This card is pretty self explanatory … so all the details can be found in the card recipe below. I love the sweet sayings in this set … and now that we have a BUTTERFLY PUNCH (available in the current mini catalogue ONLY until March 31) … it is so quick and easy to create a pretty card! Did you notice I did the “Rock & Roll” technique on the butterfly?? (Technique details on card recipe!)
I hope you are having a great weekend. We are doing pizza night tonight with the kids … and watching the Winter Olympics as it is winding down … and thinking about Stace & Jono on their way to Vancouver as I write! (6 hours into the trip now!) I might get here tomorrow … but Sunday is always my family day … so perhaps I will see you again on Monday?? Thanks for stopping by to visit. Please leave a comment if you have the time. I love to hear from my blog friends!

I am beginning to think there is a pink conspiracy out there somewhere…LOL..
To say the least, the card has impact. I am a sucker for anything with a b’fly at the mo….and I love the layout. The rock ‘n’ roll looks great on the larger b’fly. Would like to see how it wld have looked in Sage Shadow and Cert Celery perhaps..hee hee hee. It is a beautiful card darl and I do like it. Hope that the kids arrive safe and sound and that Mum survives the time without them. ooxx
Have talked by Skype to S&J and although very tired … they were very excited to be in Whistler!
Andrea adds: Was thinking of you when I was posting today (see post Mar 1) … and I promise I am going to avoid the pink if I can for a little while. (except for showing you some I have already created!)
So green’s your favourite colour – no wonder I like you – it’s mine too – LOL. But pink and green look amazing together so I guess you’ll be forgiven all the pink !!!! Another fabulous card – I love butterflies!
xXx
Andrea adds: Yep! And … now that you have mentioned it again … I have an urge to do something green. But … have to be self-disciplined and do the school newsletter first! Can’t see me doing any stamping today! Hugs xxx
I still have this card too from our stamping day in the holidays. Think I will send it off to Ruth for her birthday!
Andrea adds: This would make a pretty birthday card! I forgot it was from our stamping day! Thanks for reminding me! xxx
