Well … you all must be very busy … only 1 comment on yesterday’s card!!! But … I am SO not complaining … because I haven’t had a chance to do any blog hopping for a few days … so I certainly know how life can get in the way of creativity & blogging! I just hope you are doing okay? I thought I should post my card for Nicole’s Festive Friday #6 challenge … before the deadline!

The idea for Nicole’s challenges is to take inspiration from the Christmas Cards that her DT girls design each week. Well … my inspiration this week is actually from a couple of cards! 
I have used “sparkle” – from Carolyn’s card … “punched squares” - from Tina’s card … “punch art Santa” - from Brook’s card … and “colours” from Tina & Nicole’s cards. I had fun creating the Santa … and I used the Iridescent Ice embossing powder (yes! … AGAIN!!!) to add the sparkle to the fur on Santa’s hat & his beard. PLEASE … PLEASE … IF YOU HAVE A FEW SPARE MINUTES … NICOLE WOULD LOVE SOME MORE ENTRIES FOR HER CHALLENGE! And … what a better way to get a head start on your Christmas cards.
Hhhhmmmm …. something suspicious is happening today. 2 of my girls are getting together to do “something” that I am not allowed to see!!!?????? Not sure what to make of that??? It has made me ask the question … do I trust my girls???? Well … yes … but I am not sure about this!!!

Yes, I’ve been busy over the last couple of weeks, and have only caught glimpses of your cards. Maybe I should take more time & then the inspiration might rub off!!

I have every intention of entering these challenges…but this week I have a house full of sickies….and yet again have been thwarted. I wld love it if they were less frequent than weekly….but all I can offer is support and encouragement at present. Congrats on winning the last challenge BTW. ooxx
