your friend and family will find comfort in your cards knowing that they were made with love and that you took time to handcraft them…people never seem to be less than impressed that you thought enough of them to give them one of your creations!

Wowsers Andrea..these are stunning. The bow for me is the feature..it’s so PURDY…noice ‘n’ unusual. I love ButternutSage…..discovered abt a month or so ago…funnily enuf thru Debbie’s blog!!! LOL The ripped edge with the sentiment looks FAB too. Such a pretty, pretty card.

Andrea..I love the subtle finishing touches that u made to these beautiful cards. I am sure they will be cherished by the recipients. As mentioned previously, the brayering is brilliant, but I kinda like the B & W one best. The insides of the cards are elegant too. Magical job all round darl. ooxx
Andrea adds: Funny … but that is a card I made about 12 mths ago … and had it sitting in my box … and never got around to using it. The stamp set is now retired … but all my family loved it when I got it out and prettied it up a bit! So … thanks for enjoying!

Just a couple of queires i have been looking at your blog scince i met your daughter Skye at seussical rehersals last saturday and i didn’t catch her last name so i checked it on the cast list and searched her name in google found your website and became interested in all the cards and designs. So I wanted to know how much skill you need to have in the art department (I have very little) to make all this stuff and what is the best way to get started. XXX SHARNAE

Thanks for giving me the blue card, Andrea! I loved it!
As for Twilight… I have finished all the books – you don’t feel totally satisfied until you get to the end. Enjoyed the movie but I am the same as you, Andrea – wasn’t prepared to go to a 12am viewing of the new one.. will go when my girls go again – I am sure they will! And for the Jacob/ Edward team debate… I like the Edward character best, but am not really into R Patt either! Apparently at the movie, one of the girls’ friends let out a loud “FINALLY” when Jacob took his shirt off and the whole theatre laughed! So I am thinking Jacob might be a bit better looking than Edward!!
Andrea adds: Yes … my girls laughed about that as well! I’m not even going to comment Edward vs Jacob … I am 47 for goodness sake!!! But … Oh … can’t help myself … I really don’t understand the Rob Patt hype either!!! He is nice … but not ravable!!!! I am going to go with Ree seeing she missed out, too! Can’t find a time to suit at the moment! xxx

Your cards are just beautiful. The colours are lovely – subdued and appropriate for sympathy cards. I so wish I had time to put more effort & fancy stuff into my cards. I always try to get them done quickly and now I’ve seen yours looking so professional, I can see I have a lot to learn about making cards that look really special! Great job! I am sure our friends will love them!

I only got on this morning to check your site – though I have been on earlier this week a couple of times. I agree though – the cat is very cute!

Beautiful card Andrea and it reflects the sentiment and the occasion perfectly. Lurve the wee b’fly on the T’you!! As for the whole New Moon thingy…..I love and good romance too….but have not seen the 1st one or read any of the books!!! (I can hear the angry villiagers beating a path to my door now….stones at the ready…LOL!!) For want of copping a total flogging…I can’t even see the attraction of R Patt!!! But back to the card…splendid job darl. ooxx
Andrea adds: Well … Lynda … I think Twilight would suit you down to the ground … very romantic … but not too girly!!! Get no. 1 out on DVD … you will be surprised!!!
