I am sure you realise that Stampin’ Up! products can be used for more than just cards & scrapbooking. I had a really fun and creative workshop recently where we all decorated a tin. I love the way our Designer Series Papers are such a great “base” to start with. It is so easy to use them as a background for your project and just build on the colours & themes from the papers. SU! has 3 gorgeous themes in the “Style Watch” section of our Idea Book & Catalogue – “Tapestry”, “Crew Classics” & “Boho West” which have stamp sets / papers / embellishments & colours especially designed to work together perfectly to create a theme! The brown tin on the right is created with the Boho West product suggestions. How easy! All the thinking was done for me! Just a bit of stampin’, punching, cutting & glueing was all that was needed! My hostess & her guests were thrilled with their tins and all were quite different. It really was a creative time! I just wish I had thought to take a photo of the finished items!
I was really keen to demonstrate the Crop-a-dile to my guests, as I had punched a hole and added a hodgepodge hangar and brad to my tin and was SO AMAZED that the crop-a-dile punched the hole in the tin as if it were butter! So easy! It really is a fantastic new product! I also stamped some of the images directly onto the wide “twill tape” and this made a fantastic embellishment to wrap around the tin! Again – so easy!!! I hope you will all be rummaging in your cupboards to find a tin, now!
