Die Cut “Blooms”

Hello … how is your day?

Here is another “highlight” from the new Spring Mini Catalogue! I hope I am helping you to see how hard it is to resist some of the fantastic new products in this great mini catalogue!

I love that fact that all the stamp sets in the new Mini Catty are DIE CUT. That means NO CUTTING!!! All you do is pop out the image from the rubber sheet … peel off the backing tape … stick it onto the woodblock & stick your image sticker to the other side! EASY! How can you resist?

And … we also have some NEW sheets of textured Die Cuts called “Blooms” which I showed you on my “Summer Picnic Clowns” photo page. (Posted July 31st) I thought I would show you a card that I have made using the Die Cuts. It is amazing how quickly you can assemble a card using these gorgeous die cuts!

The only piece on this card that needed cutting out was the large stamped flower. All the other pieces were either from the “Blooms” Die Cut shapes or were punched with the Boho Blossoms Punch which is designed especially to use with the triple flower stamp from the “One of A Kind” Stamp Set. (also from the Spring Mini Catalogue) I have also punched a couple of scalloped circles with the Scallop Circle Punch.

Cardstock: Real Red, Pink Passion, Whisper White

Inks: Basic Black (on all the flowers), Pink Passion (for the borders) & Real Red / Pink Passion markers (for the phrase)

Stamp Set: One of a Kind (Spring Mini Catalogue)

The large flower was watercoloured with watercolour crayons & a blender pen. And … I did use the Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the border dots perfectly! You can check my “tutorials” link to see how to use the Stamp-a-ma-jig. Don’t forget my special promo for this month … Order $100 of products including a Stamp-a-ma-jig and receive a FREE Classic Stamp Pad (your choice of colour). Offer ends 13th August!
