You can see the large butterfly is coloured with two colours. This technique is called “Rock & Roll”.
- ALWAYS start with a pale ink … such as the “gable green” I have used for this card. Ink the whole image as normal on the green ink pad … DO NOT stamp yet!!!
- then … to add the second colour (pink passion) — Don’t press the image directly onto the (pink) stamp pad — just roll the edges of the image around on the ink pad just so the outer edge of the image is inked with the second colour — Check your rubber image to see that colour looks ok
- STAMP onto card! EASY!!!
For this card I have also cut off about 1 1/2 cm from the edge of the card & stamped the back of the card with a border of ladybugs! I rounded the corners with the Corner Rounder Punch.
