Hi … I have had a busy week and finally caught up on some well overdue present shopping! (Something I have had so little time for lately!!!) And … then, of course … I went to wrap them & realised that the wrapping paper was in short supply! But … I remembered I had some Stampin’ Up! Gift Sacks … and had some fun decorating them! The great thing is you can decorate to match the card and it looks like you have really spent time & effort in making the pressie look really special! The SU! gift sacks are available at $5.75 for 3 sacks. If you would like to order some … just contact me for delivery anywhere in Australia!
I also wanted to do something nice with the hot air balloon gift certificate that our family bought for my m-i-l’s 70th birthday. I wanted her to have something to open! So … here is what I came up with! Please excuse the lousy photography on this one … it really is not in focus! Makes my eyes hurt! 😀 This was really a quick project … I used some of the “Holiday Harmony” DSP from the Spring Mini Catty … chose a couple of contrast colours … added a bit of “bling” (some half pearls from the Pretties Kit & some dazzing diamonds on the heart) and VOILA! Colours Used: Always Artichoke, Pretty in Pink, Elegant Eggplant & Very Vanilla. I was really happy with the result!
So … all my friends are away playing at the Stampin’ Up! Sydney Regionals today! I feel a little envious … cos I know how much fun I had last year (a week after I joined SU! – in November). I hope they will bring back lots of photos & ideas … and share them with me! Even 3 of my team are going!! I imagine that Julie, Erin & Christine are having a ball! And … I stayed home to see Gav play in his soccer semi-final & it is OFF BECAUSE OF THE WEATHER!!! 😦 (Oh … and I do have to go to m-i-l’s party, too! – which has been moved in doors because of the rain & wind!) I’m sure it will be lovely! It will be really nice for m-i-l to have all her family there to help her celebrate … and I am glad we are able to be there!
