Bold Butterfly 2 step

Hi … I have to admit upfront that this card is TOTALLY cased from “Miss Minx” (SCS) … but I just loved the design! I am sure I will be adapting this for a few other stamp sets that I have! (Already have a few in my head!!! 😀 – Just need time to do them!)

Here is the card folded. And colours??? … well the cardstock is Whisper White … The butterflies are stamped in Lovely Lilac & Orchid Opulence … and the flowers in Pink Passion. The outlines are basic black and I have used some 2-way glue pen to add dazzling diamonds around on all the black outlines. (You may need to click on the picture for larger image with better detail … to see it!) I sent this off to my sis in Q’ld for her 24th wedding anniversary! Happy anniversary, Louise & Scott! And I made another in pinks & orange for a special friend who lives in Tennessee for her birthday! Happy birthday, Cindy!

Stamp sets: Bold Butterfly & Wonderful Words

Don’t you just adore the two step stamping??? It always adds a “WOW” to a card … and is just soooooooo simple! And … if you place your images carefully, you can still get 2 cards out of an A4 piece of cardstock! (Gotta love that!)

OH … I SHOULD MENTION … I HAVE ONLY 1 SPOT LEFT IN MY FIRST STAMP CLUB! WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN US? I AM HAPPY TO DO ANOTHER IF THERE IS ENOUGH INTEREST!

ADDED OCT 6 2008: Hi … I thought I would add a couple more samples to this post! I hope you like them! Try this out for yourself! It is a real “Wow” Card.

Colours Used: (both samples are Colour Coach combinations!)

Card 1: One of a Kind – Taken with Teal, Tempting Turquoise, Cameo Coral, Apricot Appeal, Certainly Celery

Card 2: Scribble This – Brilliant Blue, Ballet Blue, Ruby Red, Only Orange

I really like this card! I don’t have the butterfly stamp set though – wonder if I have something else I could try!
Andrea adds: I am keen to do this one with another stamp set … I think any set that gives a nice easy edge to cut around … should work ok. I will post another sample once I get the chance to do it! Why don’t you try it with Priceless?
