Hi again! How cute are these two cards! They were created by Julie A … and I think they are just gorgeous! Very funky! And … such pretty colours!
Both are done using the “Fishy Friends” stamp set … plus Julie had her own bubbles stamp that she added. You could use the little circle background stamp from “Itty Bitty Backgrounds” instead. The “happy birthday” stamp on the tag is no longer available (what a shame). But … don’t you love this Fishy Friends stamp set for watercolouring! And … how clever to use the rectangle frame stamp from “Frames with a Flourish” stamp set as a window frame! And … doing the cuts on the windows is really easy with a Paper Cutter. You won’t get the “holes” like you do when you use scissors!
Julie used a kaleidescope ink on the blue & white card to get the variegated colour … I wonder why SU! decided to retire these stamp pads? They do give a lovely effect! But … you can get a similar effect with your brayer … IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO LEARN HOW to get this variegated colour wash … WHY NOT JOIN ONE OF MY STAMP CLUBS??? This is a FREE CLASS where we learn heaps of great techniques … and you get to gradually build up your SU! products with just a small commitment each month to spend $50 on product! All the details are on my Stamp Club page!
Until next time … HAVE A GREAT DAY!

These cards are very cute. I might even be inspired to “copy”! Thanks Julie! Andrea – I would be keen to learn how to use a brayer sometime at one of our classes! I hope it’s on your agenda
Andrea adds: Yes … definitely on my agenda … just need to refine my techniques! 😀

Thanks Christine for your comment. I made these cards primarily with children in mind, but you could send them to anyone. I have been enjoying brushing up on skills like brayering. Cardmaking is such fun! and your blog Andrea is always a great inspiration.

Andrea adds: Hi Julie! Your cards look great! Have gradually been finishing off all the projects we were working on when you were here … have my black magic card ready to post … keep watching!
