Hi everyone. Have you missed me? 😀 I haven’t been online for a couple of days. I had a very special friend visit on the weekend from Q’ld and needed to make the most of the short time we had together! Robyn lost her husband earlier this year after a melanoma developed into brain cancer. It was heartbreaking but she is such an inspiration and is so accepting of God’s plan for her life. So … that has made my Cancer Council Donation from my October sales even more special! I am so very thankful for those who ordered via my blog & helped me to raise $110.70 for this important fundraising event. Another event one of the ladies in our church ran this week also raised $250! What a great result! I am finally starting to feel better again after a yucky week last week. I am hoping that is the end of it! 😕
Anyway, enough rabbiting! I have fallen in love with my newest stamp set “Lovely as a Tree” and am amazed how different a look you can give a card with this set. Actually, that is the wonderful thing about Stampin’ Up! stamp sets … they are all so versatile. I thought I would share this Christmas Card with you … although I am not entirely happy with the colours. I wish I had used a colour other than the black! But … it is a nice card & really easy to make!
I have stamped the middle image directly onto the card and the outside 2 images were “stamped off” twice before stamping onto the card to give a soft look to the background trees. The little “very merry” image is from the Short & Sweet set that was on special in October. I am hooked on these little phrases! They are perfect for small spaces! And the font is so pretty!
Stamp Sets: Lovely as a Tree, Short & Sweet
Colours Used: Very Vanilla, Garden Green, Basic Black, Real Red
Added touches: Dazzling Diamonds on the main tree. Corners punched with the Photo Corner Punch. Black gingham ribbon attached to the gorgeous “Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware” with silver brads.
I always love to visit other sites to get inspiration. There are so many clever people out there! This card was designed by Marji and you can see the original on her blog (Oct 30)! Click here -> Fstampaholic
Well … I have so much to share with you … especially because it is a new month. There are BRAND NEW Stampin’ Up! promos for November and I have a great Tart & Tangy bundle to show you. And … I am so excited about all that is happening this month … BUT … as much as I love being here & sharing with you all … I MUST DISCIPLINE myself … and go and finish the school newsletter before I add any more!
So … keep watching over the next few days to catch up with some fantastic promos! And … I did manage to do a little “creating” while I was sick & didn’t feel like doing anything else … so I have some lovely cards to show you as well!

Very pretty card, Andrea!! I haven’t blurffed in a while… just stopping by to say hi!
Hi Sharon … so nice to see you! I love the “blurffed” … hadn’t heard it before! (Just a “L” blogger here!) I am guessing that is “surfing” “blogs”. 😀
