Hi everyone!
I really enjoyed our recent Stamp Club where we learnt how to use our brayers to create some landscape type cards. I was so excited to get this photo by email from Christine … she was keen to try this technique for herself and I think she has done a FANTASTIC JOB! Wow!
Christine writes: Well I finally had a chance to give my brayer a go. I still have a lot to learn about getting it looking more “even” but I was quite pleased with my first attempt. Thought you might like to see it. I got the layout from that site you gave us – it’s the one with the fisherman. I didn’t quite have the same colours – but pretty close. I used Cool Carribean, Blue Bayou, Not quite Navy and Apricot Appeal. The cardstock is appricot appeal and blue bayou… The little round tag is the birthday one from Circle of Friendship stamped in silver ink.
I JUST LOOOOOOVE getting card photos from my blog readers. So … if you have tried any of our new techniques … make sure you share your creation with us!
AND … DON’T FORGET THE CHALLENGE THAT IS RUNNING AT THE MOMENT FOR OUR CHRISTMAS EXTRAVAGANZA! There is a great prize for the best photo. Start creating some Christmas projects / cards / decorations etc … and send me a pic! Your photo has to have mutiple items OR you can send a pic of your SU! decorated Christmas Tree!
Hope to see some of your Christmas Extravaganza Creations REALLY SOON!!!
