Mojo Monday #80

Hi everyone!

I was having a “lazy day” yesterday! Just had run out of “puff” … after a lot of late nights (for a variety of reasons) … and a busy weekend. I decided to try the Mojo Monday for this week. I must say … I nearly didn’t show you this one … because I kinda feel it is a little fussy … but decided that the original sketch was so nice that I had to share! You can also find some much nicer examples of this sketch on the Mojo Monday Blog!

mojo80sketchSo … here is my card …

I decided to try another IN COLOUR card … and was struggling a little … because I don’t have any DSP with the in-colours! So … that is one of the first things on my “wish list” when I order today! But … by putting the white strip along the bottom … I was able to stamp my own background instead! I used the “Kindness wheel” and rolled it across the white card with Pacific Point blue ink. Apart from the wheel image & the main verse … all the other images are from the “Simply Said” set. (LOVE that set!!!) I have used Kiwi Kiss & Pink Pirouette card & inks. The punch I used across the bottom 3 layers of card is one that I bought a long time ago (non SU!) and the punch for the three tiny flowers is also non SU! The verse is a Verve Stamp. I have used a little “Chunky Sprinkles” on the tiny blue flowers (I like this) … and on the larger feature flower (I DON’T like this!!!)

I do like this sketch … so I might have another go … and this time use some papers & make it a little less fussy!

signature-picHave to run … off to my M-I-L’s for a coffee & chat! Nice to have another lazy day today! 😀

  1. I checked MoJo Mondays challenge this week and seen you posted a card… So SWEET! I love it! The cute retro flower punches are perfect to accent the larger flower and stamped images! Bling is my thing… so the glitter ROCKS!

I’m glad you are enjoying a couple lazy day!! 🙂 We have a winter storm that is going through till tomorrow morning. So tonight I ended up in the ditch, just before dark, for the first time ever in my life! Getting the car pulled out was worse than going in the ditch… LOL! I’m enjoying a cup a Chai tea and visiting your blog to ease my nerves with your lovely creations!! Hugs… Andrea! 🙂
Andrea adds: Thanks AGAIN!!! Michelle! You are always here to encourage me! I hope you are ok after your ditch incident. That must have been really scary! Will visit your blog to see if there are more details! Take care!

Andrea adds: Not often I get a comment from a male … but hey … I did have my first male attendee at my catalogue launch last Saturday … so this is a GOOD thing! Thanks for taking the time to stop by!
