And … the winner is …

Hi everyone …

I am sneaking in some time on my son’s computer … he has actually given me use of it today to complete the school newsletter. So … I have to make the best use of the time and get that done asap! But … I knew I just had to pop by to announce the blog candy winner from Saturday!

I’m sorry I didn’t get here sooner … BUT I did get excited  … the computer store sent my computer back to me on Saturday FIXED!!! But … alas! NOT!!!! Yep! All the keys were spongy and sticky … and it still wouldn’t turn on! What a waste of time! So … here it is now 6 days later … and still NO COMPUTER!!!!!!!! At least they have now given us a letter to claim on insurance … but the claim still needs to be assessed & approved … Gav still needs to order the new computer which will probably take about a week to arrive … and then the SET UP begins! And … you all know how long that takes!!! I have to admit … the tears did start this morning … because of sheer frustration. And … now I am waiting for some files to be accessed off the old hard drive … so that I can try and get the newsletter done! That was supposed to take about an hour … or so they told us over 3 hours ago!!!!!

Anyway … yada yada yada … you don’t really want to know all that!!! 😉  But … I bet you do want to know who has won the blog candy!!!

Michelle was right … I WAS drawn to the last layout … I loved the muted mono tones … and there was something that really appealed to me. Probably because my youngest daughter is a singer … and I loved the gorgeous pic of the little girl singing! This lovely layout was designed by Cindy Lawrence -> The Creative Closet.

BUT … having said that … the “romantic” in me loved layout no. 3 … and I had to admit that this was my favourite!

So … I put the names of all who voted for this page in a hat … and my daughter Sheree did the draw and pulled Tracy’s name out! So … congrats to Tracy! I am so thrilled to be able to send off all that gorgeous DSP to you … and I am sure after looking at your blog that you will be able to put it all to good use! Seems you are a scrapbooker at heart?! 😀  Tracy McCarroll – Maryborough, QLD, Australia is the winner … and I just need you to contact me with your postal address so I can get your DSP all packed up and posted off to you!

So … am still waiting for that rotten computer shop to get back with my files. I feel like posting their name here … so you can all avoid them!!! In the meantime … I will go and start the newsletter and do what I can! Don’t forget … come back and visit soon!
