Christmas in July Stamp-a-stack

Hi everyone!

Still feeling a little under the weather but was well enough to share some time with friends this morning doing some Chrissy Cards at my Christmas in July Stamp A Stack! I thought I would share the cards we made … and give you some inspiration for a head start on your Chrissy Cards!!! 😀

I showed you this card as a “sneak peek” the other day … but you can see we actually did it in two different colour combinations using all 4 of the Chunky Sprinkles colours! My guests were thrilled with this one! 😀

Christmas Classics Ornaments x 2

Colour Combos: Certainly Celery / Gold / Whisper White & Regal Rose / Night of Navy / Whisper White / Silver. (The “jingle all the way” was stamped in Pretty in Pink / Night of Navy in the photo … but I decided it was a little pale and changed it to Regal Rose in final samples! – much better!!! 😀 ) The ornaments have been stamped on the background and then I have punched some 1″ circles and glued Chunky Sprinkles to them (with Tombow Glue) & added them on top of the image with dimensionals … so you can see the outline of the ornaments from the image beneath.

This was another card using the same “Christmas Classics” stamp set. It was such an easy card … but again … really simple is sometimes really effective … don’t you think???

Christmas Classics Tree

We actually did this card in 3 colour combinations … but I took the photo (above) before I had done the third sample (which was an after thought!!! 😀 ) You can see in the enlargement below that the tree has been stamped 3 times … and then the top section of the tree & then the 2 top sections have been cut separately and layered on top of the full tree. This looks great IRL! (not so obvious in the photo!) Note: IRL = in real life!!! 😀

Card Recipe:

Sample 1:

  • Inks: Perfect Plum
  • Extras: Paper Piercer & mat pack; Ribbon for bow; Crimper; Dazzling Diamonds; 2 way glue pen

Christmas Classics Soft Sky

DSCN1556 zoomSample 2: Colours used: Soft Sky / Baja Breeze / Not Quite Navy / Whisper White + Baja Breeze Ink

Sample 3: (not shown)  Colours used: Very Vanilla (background + stamping card) / Pink Pirouette / Riding Hood Red + Riding Hood Red Ink  (this was a lovely combination … especially with the pink included!)

Have another card to show you … but might leave that until tomorrow.
