Cyberstamp Friday Sketch Challenge

Hello!

Another card created during the Cyberstamp weekend that I participated in last week! It really was fun having so many activities to join in! This was the Friday Sketch challenge and was organised by Christine Healey from Hawthorn VIC. Thanks Christine! This was a fun sketch!

I was feeling in a pink mood … so here is what I came up with …

Fri Sketch Challenge

I love these papers – the “Sweet Always” DSP … and perhaps I need to stop being restrained and buy the stamp set that goes with these papers … because I  really love the  designs … and the stamp set has the same gorgeous flowers & swirls. Oh dear! Something else to add to my wish list!

I also used my “Sweet Stems” (lotsa sweet in this card!! 😀 ) as the main image … and used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to position  two of the images to join into a longer stem of flowers – stamped with Basic Grey ink. I coloured the centre of the images with my SU! marker. This card also has one of the YUMMY BRAND NEW “Oval All” stamps from the new mini catalogue, which I also stamped in Basic Grey and then coloured with the markers. The scallop oval (also new in the new mini) was punched from more Sweet Always DSP and I have added a “Build a Brad” embellishment for a little extra “pizzazz”. This is a cool embellishment … you can punch a circle to fit inside the brad … so I actually stamped the image on a scrap … coloured it in … punched it out … and added it to the brad. It looks like it is “magnified”! I love this effect!!! I have only just purchased these Build a Brads … I will have to show you some more asap!!!

Card Recipe:

  • Stamp Sets: Sweet Stems, Oval All
  • Inks: Basic Grey Stamp Pad, Regal Rose SU! Marker
