My third theme was based on the stamp set – “Friends 24-7” … which you all know took a little while for me to see the potential of. After seeing Shelli (Gardner) demo this set at Convention … I just had to have it! 😀 So … I hope these cards might even do the same … and convince you that it is a LOVELY set … and helps to create the most DAZZLING cards! Here is sample 1 …

Do you like the colour combo? It is another new one … Elegant Eggplant / Baja Breeze / Kiwi Kiss! I think it is a really elegant colour combo. I have had a lot of trouble getting the photo to give a true representation of the colours … so this is still not quite right! I even resorted to using Gav’s “u-beaut” Nikon … but it seems this is the best I am going to get!!! It is actually a lovely combo. Anyway … I have teamed the “Friends 24-7” stamp set with the “Friendly Words” jumbo wheel stamp that go so well together! This looks a lot more difficult than it really is. Don’t be afraid to try a card that has several elements … just break each element down individually … and it won’t seem nearly as “daunting”. Here is the 2nd sample … a little more simple … but still gorgeous!

This card could easily be turned on it’s side and used just as effectively as a landscape design! 😀 I have stamped the image twice … using my S-A-M-J (stamp-a-ma-jig) to position it perfectly. Some simple colouring … and some Dazzling Diamonds and an awesome card comes together beautifully. The image was stamped in Elegant Eggplant & coloured with a blender pen & Kiwi Kiss & Baja Breeze ink. Some yummy satin Baja Breeze Ribbon Originals ribbon … and pretty Kiwi Kiss satin ribbon … creates a perfect combination!

And … my 3rd sample is super easy, too! Sorry about the shadows on this card … not sure what was happening with my photography today!? 🙄 You can see the gorgeous Super Nova glitter I have used on the flowers … just adds the prettiest sparkle to the card … and really lifts it. (And is a perfect match to the Kiwi Kiss!)
So … only one more theme for my card buffet to go … keep watching for the last group of cards using the “Crazy for Cupcakes” stamp set! It is a great colour combo, too … very funky!

CLICK ON THE TABLE … and you will see an enlarged image that is easy to read. The “bold” sizes for the card is the standard sizes that I had precut … and below each is listed the pieces that need to be cut from this “standard” piece of card. (I hope that makes sense!)

Love your cards Andrea, I do like your colour combo too, not one that I would have thought of (probably becasue I just don’t do purple), but they go so well together. Friends 24-7 is a very special stamp set, I’m starting to use mine more & more 🙂
