Hello again!
Ooooh a bonus post!!! Aren’t you lucky!!! 😀
I have combined two challenges for this card … and I thought I had missed the deadline for the Colour Challenge … but I think if I post this now … I might just sneak in! (Time difference is sometimes really handy!!!)
Last week’s “Colour Throwdown” was a lovely combination …
And … this “Sweet Sunday” sketch challenge was actually an older one … but I thought it was such a lovely design … and wanted to try it out!!!
So … I have used my FAV “Friends 24-7” stamp set again! MMMmmm … just can’t get enough of this set!! 😀 Here is my card sample …
I made this harder for myself … by framing every piece of the sketch layout with the Always Artichoke!!! So … that meant lotsa cutting … but it really didn’t take too long! I also spent a little time cutting out the feature images … the two flower stems and the bird … but I think it was worth the effort!!!??? What do you think??? Here are a couple of pics showing the detail a little better…
I hope you can see the gorgeous bling and the double layering on the bird & the flowers … it really adds something special to the finished card!!! That’s it for now … gotta fly … gotta finish that darn newsletter!!! 😀
