Cute DSP card!

DSP Card - Boho BlossomsHi again!

I am off down to Kiama for a FAB FUN day of stamping and hilarity … Believe me … with the two Leonies … there is bound to be hilarity!!! We are doing some more brayering … so I am really excited to learn some more hints to creating better backgrounds! Should be sensational!!! But … before I go … here is one of the cards we created at our class last Saturday! (Has it really taken me a whole week to show you this one???) I do have to acknowledge that I CASED this design from a SWAP that I received at our SU! Convention in May – designed by Jennie Cass. I can’t find a blog for Jennie … but did find some of her designs on Bridget’s blog … my swap was like the pink one at the top (although mine was done in apricot – very pretty!) So … thanks Jennie for this great idea!

DSP Card x 2

Now … this is such a cute card … and so easy to make … I hope you do try it. I guess the best way to show you how to create this card is to just upload some pics. You can see how to score and fold the 15 x 15 cm square of DSP … and then it is just a matter of decorating! But … just remember … if you are using your paper scorer to score … this is PAPER … not CARD!!! Just press ever so lightly to do the scoring. Otherwise you will tear the paper. OR … you could use some of the “Parisian Breeze Specialty” DSP from the Spring Mini … which is almost card thickness and would create some gorgeous samples of this card!!! But … the ordinary DSP is fine … just be a little careful!!! 😉

So … here are some sample pics to help you see how to create these quick and easy cards … And … a card recipe is included below with all the measurements for DSP, Cardstock & scoring lines! Don’t forget … you can click on any of these pics for an enlargement with better detail.

Off to Leonie’s … dum de dum dum dum … Do I sound like Pooh Bear when he has just found some honey??? 😀 Have a great weekend!
