Here I am … back with the last sample from my recent “Special Fold” class. I have seen these around on HEAPS of blogs recently … seems that everyone is trying this design out. Again I based this on a tutorial from SCS … but I did change the measurements so you could get one card out of a piece of A4 cardstock instead of having to use a 12×12″ piece of card. So … you will find all the measurements in the recipe at the end of the card.
This was my first attempt at this special fold card … and I was quite happy with it. I love the pinks … “Sweet Always” DSP has fast become a favourite!!! (I had to buy another pack last week!)
And … here are some pics of the open card. You can see how it folds … and some of the stamping & embelllishments …
This is the sample I demo-d at the class. Totally different look with different colours and stamp images. You could adapt this card for male or female!
And … a couple of extra views for this card …
I love the Taken with Teal teamed with the Chocolate Chip. I think it is a really striking combo. I hope this doesn’t look too daunting … because seriously it looks a lot harder than it really is. You just need to get the scoring and cutting done … then cover each panel with some coordinating DSP & then decorate. All the instructions for cutting, scoring & folding are on my card recipe!
Try this one out. You will be really satisfied with the result. Have a great day!
