Razzle Dazzle Butterfly

Hello again!

I have been having such fun playing with my Kaleidescope DSP … I am sooooooo loving these funky bright colours!!! Perfect for summer!!! I made a few cards yesterday using these great papers … but … this is a card that I actually made for the Catty Launch at the beginning of December … and I hadn’t got around to sharing it with you. Sorry about the glare factor on the photo … sometimes it is a little hard to get true colour in the pics … without brightening them a little. But … you get the idea! 😀

I have used a few items from the Summer Mini Catalogue! (Have I convinced you to get this catty yet??? You WILL NOT be disappointed!!!) Notice the large scallop circle … and the main image circle!??? Both were cut with my FANTABULOUS Circle Scissors … and the scalloping was done with corner rounder punch (minus guide). I also used the sweet Butterfly Punch … and the absolutely addictive Razzle Dazzle stamp set.

The main image was inked using my SU! markers … I just wiped each colour across the image … to get a rainbow effect. Isn’t it sooo pretty? And … the flowers on the butterfly were just individually inked with markers to get the multi-colour effect. All the details are found in my card recipe below. Oh … did you notice I added a little marker ink to the edge of the white ribbon???

Imagine my surprise this morning when I was checking my comments to find one from Kelly Mayou: “Congratulations! I just wanted you to know that your project will appear on the Yahoo Group Late Night Stamper’s blog finds of the day for January 5. Want to receive your own copy of the blog finds of the day? Join us at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/stampinuplnstampers/ or visit our Blog Finds of the Day Blog at http://blogfindsoftheday.blogspot.com.”  Like I said to Lynda … I was thrilled that she had found my blog … let alone used my project on her group blog!!! Yes … I was tickled pink!!! 😀 And … I do have to thank Lynda for the inspiration!!! So … before I pat myself on the back any further … I had better go!!! 😉 😀 LOL!

Have a great day! I am off to do some more stamping! Yee Haa!!! Might try the “Never Ending Card”. Have always wanted to … and Ness has just done one on her blog … so I am inspired again!!!
