Don’t forget that we are running a great promo at the moment to aid the Haitian Earthquake Disaster Relief Fund. $2 from every I {heart} hearts stamp set that is sold is donated to this worthwhile cause. Can you believe that they have just pulled a survivor out of the rubble … 27 days after the earthquake!!! Anyway, I have been having a bit of a play with this stamp set (that I had purchased BEFORE the promo! – Darn!) But … I wanted to show you what a great set it is!
So … today’s card is one that I made for a friend’s son who has just got engaged … We are off to the engagement party tonight. I had bought some pretty heart paper to wrap their present in … so that is what inspired the colours that I used on this card!
The ribbon was just some I had in my ribbon basket … (not SU!) … but it just seemed perfect with the silver hearts on it. I pulled out my French Flair (ret. SU!) background stamp. Haven’t used it in ages … but it is still just as gorgeous!
I always use SU! envelopes with my special cards … because they are just so smooth and perfect for stamping … and it always gives a classy look to the gift … especially if you design the card to match the gift wrapping! Card recipe is given below!
Please don’t forget the SU! promo using this FAB stamp set!! Apart from being a really versatile set with a great choice of hearts … the triple heart stamp is designed to fit the Heart to Heart punch … and three of the other heart stamps will fit the Full Heart punch. Perfect for making really Q&E cards! I look forward to your order. If your order totals $100 of SU! products … you can also take advantage of our Sale-a-bration promotion and earn a gorgeous free stamp set. All the details for both promos can be found at the links highlighted here -> Haiti OR Sale-a-bration. Thanks for stopping by! Please please leave a comment! I am thinking about going on strike due to lack of interest! Let me know that you stopped by and that you don’t want me to go on strike!!! 😛 😉

This is really lovely… I know you matched Janelle’s card to her wrapping too but I forgot to have a look at her card. Came in here thinking you would have “posted” it but sigh.. no! Maybe it’s on your list to do! If not though … can you send me a photo? Thanks, Christine
Andrea adds: LOL! I will post the photo in the next day or so! Funny that you didn’t get to see it! Was a nice day on Saturday! I hope Janelle enjoyed her special day! Hugs, Andrea xx

I think she had a great day even though it wasn’t quite as we planned it. I am so glad we didn’t go to the beach in the rain! We were tempted cos it was really what she wanted but she was also happy to make it more comfortable for everyone and have it at home! Will look out for the card. I don’t know why I didn’t have a good look at it yesterday… meant to!
Andrea adds: LOL … have a great day back at work today! Hugs xx
