Just a quick one!

Hello guys!

Gotta fly … off to the physio with Skye. (She has been having work done on her shoulder – still having trouble after breaking it 2 years ago!) But … before I disappear … here is a card I “whipped up” recently. The inspiration came from a card by Linda Moss. Thanks for the mojo help, Linda!

A very simple design … but perfect for my father-in-law’s birthday! He is not into fussy or frilly! (What male is???) 😉  The watercolouring on this card was done with my stampin’ pastels (for a change!). I used my aqua painter to do the colouring and my blender pen to add the accents & highlights.

I am soooooooooooooo excited … (hope I don’t wet my pants!!!) 😀 I put my pre-order in last night for the Autumn Mini Catty!!! So much to be excited about … I have ordered the “Big Shot” die cut machine & a couple of dies! I also ordered the 3 new in-colours that will take us through to the new Idea Book & Catalogue that will be released in September! So … this mini is extra large to make up for the fact that we don’t get our new IB&C until Sept. This is to bring us into line with the US! (A very positive step … but it does mean we have to be a little patient!) But … the new mini is running for 5 months (instead of the usual 4 mths) … which means we have plenty of time to spread our purchases! I can tell you … you will want to spread the purchases … because there is just so much to put on your “wish list”.
