Vintage Labels / Razzle Dazzle!

Hello again!

You can all finally breathe a sigh of relief. I am going to stop moaning about not getting any stamping done … because last night I made 4 new cards with my new Autumn Mini Goodies!!!! So … no more tanties! I have had my “fix” … and am in a much calmer frame of mind!!! LOL 😉 !!! So … I’m not sure what is allowed to be shown on our blogs, yet … so until I check that out … you will have to be satisfied with something using two of the FREE Sale-a-bration stamps (from the Vintage Labels set) & the lovely Razzle Dazzle stamps  from the Summer Mini …

So I was VERY satisfied with this card! I have used a couple of techniques that I haven’t done for a while. One was colour spritzing … and the other was poppin’ pastels (chalks). You can check my card recipe for details about how to do these two techniques! I love pink and brown together … and you can see the cute little label stamp with the best wishes phrase … and how well this fits inside the wide oval punch. A bit of extra sponged chalk around the edges of the card and the phrase … just make it look a little more “vintage”! 😀 I like the ribbon effect … but just need to tweak my technique it a little to get it a bit more even! Oh … I shouldn’t have told you that … you probably thought it was meant to be uneven & rustic!!! 😀 😉

I am hoping to get some more stamping done today … have to do a 50th anniversary card for some very dear friends (of my mum & dad’s). And … I also need to get all my school fair stuff finished. I have a few things to donate to the craft stall … but I want to package them up nicely … and add some tags! A good job while Gav is away in Adelaide for the weekend!

C U Soon! Stampin’ Hugs xxx

Please stop displaying cards made using Razzle Dazzle, I didn’t end up getting it and probably will not so late in the mini! But your work with it, just teases me! LOL

    1. I know what a scaredy cat. I was literally less than 1m away, knew who you were, went to say hello & then ‘woossed’ out completely. Will def say hello if I get you in my sights this time (esp as we are both lucky enough to be cyber-mates with Lee-Anne Barry. Told her the same story & promised I’d be brave & speak up if I got a 2nd chance!).
Thanks for visiting my blog too,
      Cheers, Fi x
Andrea adds: No worries, Fi! You just reminded me … I was thinking just on the weekend that I hadn’t heard from Lee-Anne for a while and MUST send an email! Thanks for the memory jog … will do that asap! I will be looking for you at Convention! Hope I find the time to do swaps … and I will keep one specially for you! 😀
