I am excited … doing a little happy dance … because I am off to play with some friends! Tracey, Leonie, Jenny & I are all getting together today … for a stamping play date! We are planning to go ’til after tea! Yahoo!!! 😀 I have printed out a couple of challenges that I want to get done … and I am going to show them the gift box that Lynda made for a lovely Chrissy gift. Should be lotsa fun! Leonie is picking me up at 10ish … so I have to be quick today! 😀 Here is my card for the SUO challenge – Bring on the Bling! The colours for the rose in this card are based on a “Peace” Rose … my favourite colour rose. So … the cardstock colours were chosen to coordinate … after the rose was coloured! 😀 (I usually do this process in reverse … but it seemed to work okay???)
I think the photos show up the pretty Dazzling Diamonds … but the layering of the rose isn’t too clear. This rose is actually a 3 layered “tolled” rose. And … the glitter is a little more subtle than what the photo shows. It is actually really pretty and feminine IRL! 😀 Sometimes the photography is a little more challenging than the actual stamping! 😉 I’m not sure if you can see the subtle “En Francais” background image on the PiP card? This is also a little more obvious IRL. Well … gotta fly! I do hope you pop by the SUO website to see the other gorgeous creations! See you soon! xxaxx

How good does 5th Ave Floral and EOS look together??? I love the tolled rose…..once again…something I have nor tried, but have seen a couple of times. The BLING shows up VERY well in the pic!! I am a bit confused tho (not hard!! LOL) there is no mention of the blue CS on the espresso?? It is beautifully blinged!! Kudos on the success with the pinking hearts too…looks awesome!! The card ROCKS!!
Have a ball at your play date today. The box is sooooooooo easy the 4 of you will knock it off in a heartbeat…guarenteed!! With all that you have done in the past couple of weeks, Ink friendship and fun is a great recharge to the batteries!!! ooxx
Andrea adds: “The Blue CS” ??????????? The glitter on the espresso is a strip of sticky strip (double sided tape) and dazzling diamonds sprinkled on top. Perhaps you need to clean your glasses???? I’ve spoken to the other demo in town and we are trying to arrange a play date, but between Christmas/NY, sick kids, work and everything else, we haven’t got there yet!
Would have loved to attend a post convention get together…maybe one day!
