Hello bloggies (blog groupies!) 😀
Well … a quiet day to myself (finally!) Sandy is here … but I am hoping that Shane will come home from work and they will go for a motor bike ride … and that will keep him occupied for awhile! 😉 So … perhaps I will catch up on some INK4U projects today??? I know that I said I would be back with a special gift project today (frame & card) … but I actually have this card to submit for the latest JAI “Just Add Monotone” & Stamping 411 sketch (click pic for link) challenges … so I thought I would pop that here first. Tomorrow is Sheree’s 21st birthday … so I will try and get her card posted tomorrow … and perhaps then on Thursday I will do the frame post??? 😀 So … don’t worry … I have plenty to show you over the next few days!
So … there are a few highlights on this card that I wanted to mention. The first is the GORGEOUS “Finial Press” embossing folder that I have used for the embossing on the white card. Isn’t it such a pretty one! The folder is full size like the others that I have … but I have just embossed the edge of the card … rather than all over for this one! 😀 I have punched the butterfly from MM DSP and covered it with Crystal Effects and then sprinkled a mix of Chunky Sprinkles (ret. SU!) & Supernova glitter on top. It is SUPER pretty IRL! The scalloped square is actually created with a Nestabilities Die (non. SU!) Kez had used the same circle dies on a card recently … and I just loved the embossed frame so much that I decided to splurge on some for myself.
Off to check my comments … visit my blog friends … and then do some stamping. Can you imagine a better way to spend a free day? Hugs xxaxx
Added: Thurs 20th … Wow! I just got the best “pick me up” after a busy & difficult week. A “TOP 3 PICK” at Just Add Ink for this card!!!! A very big thank you to the JAI DT girls … for a much needed boost! You are all such an encouragement to me! Thank you Thank you Thank you! 😀 xxxxxxxxxx
Added: Sat 22nd … How exciting … another win with this card! I am sooooo thrilled! Another BIG thank you to the girls at Stamping 411 for this lovely surprise! I can’t believe it! 😯 I certainly have a smile on my face now! 😀 xxxxxxxxxx
