I am so hoping to get some stamping done today … but first I thought I would share a project that we did a little while ago at a friendship/stamping day at Tracey’s. (with Leonie & Jenny) Leonie shared this great little gift box and gift card set that she had done with her lucky stamp club girls!
Sorry … no card recipe for this one! (I overlooked it at the time … and now don’t have the measurements!) But … it is reasonably self explanatory … and you are free to decorate the cards however you wish!
The box is created using the Big Shot “Scallop Square” Bigz Die. We cut 2 of these squares and scored & folded along between the 2nd & 3rd scallops on 1 side on each scallop square. You need to create a little rectangle open top box to fit inside to hold the cards. You know … the basic type … like I have shown in the diagram here? Then glue the two scallop square “sides” to the box to create the card holder. (Does that make sense?) Click on diagram to view better.
I have used the gorgeous “Just Believe” stamp set to decorate these. The two colours are Certainly Celery and Melon Mambo! Well … mum just dropped in … and stayed for a little while. She was here to drop off her shopping list … and I need to get that submitted to the Woolies online shopping site. My fingers are itching to stamp … but I have to wait a little longer! 😦 I am itching to try a couple of challenges! Here’s hoping!!! 😀 Take care everyone! Stampin’ Hugs xxaxx

Who’d have thunk that pink and green cld go so well together?? I like this v v much. The CC breaks up the intensity of the MM v well (hee hee hee). The wee set is devine and I am sure a lot of fun and games were had whilst putting it all together hmmmmm??? 😉 I have been eyeing off the scallop square die for a bit….but it’s gunna be a LONG time before I get one. Well done on this mini card magic. ooxx
