A Scrap Challenge? … Tweak it!

Hi again!

Madeline has given us a couple of scrap book challenges for this session of INK4U! … but … being a little “under the weather” I didn’t want to struggle with ideas (I’m not much of a scrapper) … so I tweaked the challenge … and made the scrap sketch into a card! Yes … I know … that is cheating! But … hey … sue me!!! 😉 I actually think this is pretty good! 😀 😉

So … I’m not sure if you can see the Baja Breeze background stamp … from my brand new “Extreme Elements” stamp set. This set is gonna get a lot of use … particularly for male cards! The Crumb Cake stamp behind the surfer is also from this set! And … the surfer is an individual stamp called “Extreme Surfboard”. Don’t they all team so well together! Can you see the Silver Foil Smooch Spritz on the black card? It looks FAB IRL (in real life)!!! 😀 The phrase stamp is from one of my NEWBIES … a Sale-a-bration set called Punch Bunch. So … what do you think??? Do I pass … even though this was meant to be a scrap page???

I just wanted to take a quick moment to say THANK YOU to Madeline (our sweet leader at INK4U!) for honouring me with a “Stylish Blogger Award”. What a wonderful compliment … and I am thrilled to receive it. Now … I have blogged this award before … so I won ‘t bore you all with repeating myself … but I just wanted you to check out my “8 Things About Me” that I listed when I posted this award back in Dec 2010. Check out NO. 8!!! I have Madeline to thank for making this dream come true. So … how appropriate that she has now given me this award, too! Big hugs … to a special friend!  AND … another BIG thank you to Fiona … for also passing this award onto me recently. I am so blessed to have such lovely, generous encouraging friends!

I need to pass this award on … so I will share it with these lovely girls … (I am trying to send this to friends that haven’t received it from me before!)

Have a nice day, everyone! Hugs xxaxx

I agree that cards are easier than scrap pages.
    Thanks for sharing.

Andrea adds: My only scrap album is a huge job … it is A3 size … and I am scrapping all the family portraits that I took down from the wall! Not an easy task! I haven’t touched it for about 2 years! Hugs xxaxx
