Love Defined

Hello bloggies! 😀

I stamped!!!!! 😀 Yay! It has been a while! What better way to start … than with a challenge … or three!!! 😉 Always the best thing for flagging mojo! 😀 I decided to pop by 2 of my fav challenge blogs … and combine a sketch and a colour challenge! And … then I decided to challenge myself a little more … and use a stamp set that I haven’t used much – Love Defined. I actually love this set … but find I don’t do a lot of “love” type cards. This was a fun card to do …

I wanted to show you a quick way to stamp several images on the one piece of card … like I have  for the main image panel here. Try popping your stamps onto a larger block … so you can place them in exactly the right place … before you stamp. You can check the placement will fit the card before inking … and move the separate images around until they are perfectly positioned.

Then you can use markers to ink the images up … and stamp them all in one “go” … creating a picture with your images.

Another little trick … instead of using markers to carefully ink separate bits of this tree image … I have inked the tree image using my Night of Navy Stamp pad …  then … using my Blender Pen … I have lifted the ink off select parts of the image. You will need to keep “cleaning” your blender pen … on scratch paper … to remove the ink from the pen … as you work the ink off the rubber. Then …  you can use Markers to add a different colour ink to the bare spots of rubber. A Q&E technique! 😀

These are the two challenges that I used for this card! Why don’t you pop by the websites … to see some more gorgeous samples. You should see what the DT girls have created! 😀

Well … it felt good to get out my stamps and ink again! 😀 I might go and stamp some more now! Have a great day! Hugs xxaxx

I’m glad to here you are well enough to pull out the ink, and that you had fun doing it! I have been busy doing things for Cordeaux’s fete in Saturday – including stamping some cards! I figured every bit helps…
    Thanks for sharing,

This is really sweet Andrea. I wouldn’t have thought of putting these three colours together, but they work really well. Love the “heart” grass nestled in the scrunched ribbon & the little bits of bling. Great tips too! TFS 🙂
Andrea adds: LOL! Thanks Helen … isn’t the colour combo lovely. I wouldn’t have thought of this combo either … but I do like the finished result. Thanks for popping by again! So nice to see you. Hugs xxaxx
