A Sketch Challenge!

Hi there bloggies!

I have stalled again with the card making. After a busy day with mum yesterday … we have a few more things to cross off her “to do before hospital” list today. So …  before she arrives to pick me up … I thought I would quickly share another Clayton’s Convention card with you all today. This was a Taylored Expressions sketch picture that I found in my sketch file & gave it to my buddies to get their mojo going! 😀 I am amazed at how different all the girls’ creations were! Here is my card …

I love the pastels / crumb cake combo … always a winner! 😀 There is lots of punching on this card … you can see the list of punches on my card recipe at the end of the post. I have sponged around each of the elements on this card … yes!!!! ALL of them!!!  So … would you like to see what the other girls came up with for this sketch? (Apologies again for the repeat pics!)

I popped a movie on yesterday while I was blogging. “Marley & Me”. I had forgotten how special it was … I just love the whole “relationship” aspect of the movie … and the beautiful family story. And … I was quite proud that I didn’t end up in a puddle at the end! (I could have … considering how it ends!!!) Well … I had better fly … mum will be here any minute! Hugs xxaxx

Love your take on this sketch darl….pastels and you…who’d have thunk it huh??? I also love the fact that the other gals all went with diff shapes for their “squares”…too cool. The fact that you were so pedantic and sponged everything makes me love you even more!! Fantastic card.
BTW…great game last night….and make sure you let Gav know abt ur feelings abt his “origin’ defiance…LOL!! No pressure on the blues next game…in Qld….insane parochial crowd and Lockyer’s last game….easy really!!!! (wink) ooxx
Andrea adds: And … already a sell out!!! Go the maroons! Believe me … the subject has come up frequently over the last number of years!!! He just shrugs it off … and I just remind him I could understand him being blue … if they were winning!!! 😉 But … after last night??? Thanks for popping by again! Hugs xxaxx

This is SUCH a fun design, girl. LOVE your take on the sketch with all the different shapes instead of plain squares. All the dimension is awesome!

Awesome card Andrea, love all those little panels & their finery! Great to see the other four interpretations of the sketch too. Well done ladies.
(How could you not end up in a puddle after watching M&M? I was a blubbering mess, but hey, I cry at Disney movies, lol.)
Andrea adds: Giggle … and I cried today … over a YouTube link to Korea’s Got Talent. A sad story about an orphan boy who loved to sing! I am hopeless! Hugs xxaxx
