Another Maureen CASE!

Hi there bloggies!

Well … the boys all left to go to the snow (a 6 hour drive) at 2am this morning. They are there until Saturday evening … and then they drive home Sat night. The weather is apparently sensational … I just hope the snow doesn’t melt!!! And … Stace & Bree are here to stay while they are away. (Jono went with Gav & Shane … my b-i-l Ian & nephew Ryan … and another friend.) So … apart from visiting mum … I intend to have a few quiet days spending time with my girls (& Sandy!!!) I am having a huge amount of trouble finding my mojo … so I went back to my ‘to CASE’ file for some inspiration … and found this …

Isn’t it delightful??? I was keen to try this one straight away …

This is another of Maureen’s delightful creations. And … although happy with the result … I am wishing I didn’t add the shmooch spritz to the flowers … because it softens the depth of colour on the flowers too  much. I think the striking thing about Maureen’s card is the contrast of the bright colours on the white/black combo. But … it is a lovely elegant design … don’t you think??? Well … I hope I find that mojo soon … because I am beginning to worry it has left me for good! I can’t keep copying  my friend’s designs!!! 😉

Today has been gorgeous … unseasonably warm temps for the last few days … and I am beginning to feel like summer is on the way. It is amazing how much a little sunshine and warmth … brightens your spirits! Take care … I will see you all soon! Hugs xxaxx

Beautiful card Andrea. You’ve done a great job! Sometimes, I think that it just as hard to do a CASE and do it justice, then to create a new design! This one is beautiful!

Hope you have a relaxing weekend & enjoying some down-time.

    Thanks for sharing,
    ♥ Gabbi ♥
Andrea adds: I am hoping for a quiet one, Gabbi! Stacey is staying with Bree while the boys are at the snow … but it is nice and quiet here this morning! 🙂 Hugs xxaxx

Must be my dodgy old eyes…I wld have never recognised those flower colours as Razz and Regal Rose!! i do love the card however and 2 thoumbs up on the deft scissor work.
Perhaps urs and my mojo have run off together….leaving us bumbling around our spaces??? I have all this wonderful stuff to try/mount and play with…but no mojo to carry it thru!!
Great card. Enjoy the speccy family time. pray that there is Lowcock special in the snow (wink!!)
Andrea adds: Nope … not dodgy … it’s the shmooch spritz that has made the colours look different! My mojo is definitely gone walk-a-bout. Spent some time today stamping … and just wasn’t happy with anything that I did. No creative juices flowing at all. I am amazed at how little inclination I have for stamping at the mo! The snow trip was frustrating … some rain … some wind … nice in between! Not one of the best years … but they had a good time. On their way home now! Hugs xxaxx

Actually, I quite like the muted colour and the spritz on these flowers! It was the first thing I thought when I saw it.
Andrea adds: Well … thanks for the encouragement … always welcome!!! Hugs xxaxx
