Hi bloggies!
I am desperate to find some time to stamp … because here I am with the “bottom of the barrel” for my cards! Nothing left to show you after this one. So … I hope I can do some stamping soon. This is another of the recent Clean & Simple sketches and a colour combination that was suggested by the SU! Colour Coach. Yes … tired brain … means look for help for ideas! And … if in doubt … CASE! Well … this is not a CASE … but … I’m thankful for the C&S sketch idea & Colour Coach Combo!
And … another “Bliss” card … how can I go wrong!?? 😉 I love, love, love this set! So … a quick update … poor sis & her dh had another funeral today … for his 95 yr old grandad! I managed to get along for the service … and then ran back to mum’s to wait for the doctor to arrive (morning visit had been pushed back to lunchtime visit) … and here it is now … nearly 4pm and he hasn’t come yet. So … even though mum is home from the hospital … we are still waiting to see doctors!!! 😯 But … I am happy to report that after 10 days of being at home … mum is finally starting to feel a little brighter. Her appetite is returning … the “gloominess” is lifting … and although we won’t know for months if this treatment is completely working … she does seem to be coping a lot better. I hope by this time next week … we might be able to start weaning mum off full time care. After she sees the specialist … she may be able to get rid of the walking frame … and manage with a stick. This should mean she will be able to do a little more for herself. Well … time to keep moving … I have the morning off “mum-sitting” for a brunch date that Stacey had organised several weeks ago. The girls and I are meeting Stacey’s best friend, Sis & Mum at the Cliffhangar restaurant … where we had Stace’s baby shower! Thanks so much to my loyal blog buddies for keeping my spirits up with your lovely comments! 😀 Hugs xxaxx
Isn’t it wonderful how Bliss is such a failsafe set?? I actually was taken a bit aback when I first saw it…the Peach kinda hit me, but I am v v much warming to it. I don’t think it wld have felt the same if the order of the colours were changed. Great scissor wk on the b’fly and I love the wee bits of bling.
If it helps…a new card will be coming ur way with a speccy OS delivery early next week!!!
So glad to heat that Mum’s fog is lifting. May the lunch be the soul soothing tonic you need. Love n hugs always darl. ooxx
Andrea adds: Perhaps I should have used the Pear Pizzaz & Peach Parfait in reverse??? (Swapped the colous?) But … I don’t know what I was thinking at the time … so this is how it is! And … to tell you the truth .. I do think it looks nicer IRL! Oooh! I always love RAKs!!! I will look forward to that … and thanks for being here … yet again! The brunch was lovely … as was the dinner out with some other friends. (Last minute organisation of what is usually a regular monthly dinner. For some strange reason ????? we haven’t managed to catch up for ages!) So … it was a lovely day … with some mum dramas in between! (I will spare you the details!) Hugs xxaxx

The colours in this are striking, and the layout is beautiful – another lovely card.
Hope your weekend is going well 🙂
Thanks for sharing,
♥ Gabbi & hearts;
Andrea adds: Hi Gabbi! A mixed weekend … some “time out” … some mum drama … some yummy food … some family time … some “church at home” time … and a good sleep! Thankfully … what could have been a tricky situation yesterday … has resolved … and life is more calm today! Gav & I plan to take mum out for a drive this arvo … but I think I already told you that??? 😀 Hugs xxaxx

I am not really fazed on Peach Parfait, but you’ve managed to make it look okay! Of course, anything teamed up with Bliss will look good.
Rest and enjoy your time with your mum. We understand that you can’t do everything…. I think we’ve all been overstretched at times. Good to hear that your mum is slowly recovering and starting to feel better within herself.
Cheers
Sonia
Andrea adds: None of the orange colours particularly “grab” me … but I am quite tolerant of Pumpkin Pie. So … I agree! I just decided to try a Colour Coach combo … and it did seem to work quite well. I am not feeling “overstretched” … but I just can’t find time for stamping at the moment. I do sit a bit at mum’s (in between small odd jobs & helping her) … which is nice … but I don’t have my stamping stuff with me … to make use of the time! 😀 Talk about frustrating! Hugs xxaxx

Lovely colour combo, great card, hers hoping you find some time soon. I am trying to find a supplier who sells time, but as yet have come up empty lol. Oh well, have a few more scheduled posts then I too, will be out lol. Good luck.
Andrea adds: If you do find a supplier … I need a bulk purchase!!! 😉 Thanks for your visit, Melissa … always an encouragement to me! Hugs xxaxx

This is such a pretty card, Andrea! The colour combo is so “fresh” looking. ANd as you say, you can never go wrong with “Bliss” 🙂
Andrea adds: It is a fresh colour combo! Not one I would choose … but it works well. Hugs xxaxx

Oh, Andrea… this is so pretty. Love the way you over stamped the images, and the gorgeous butterfly. Just perfect! The colors are so pretty. Glad Mum is doing better. Makes your life happier too…
Andrea adds: Yes! I am liking the overstamped look! I have so many ideas in my head … and sometimes they translate beautifully to cards. At other times … hmmm … they end up in the trash! Hugs xxaxx
