Hi bloggies! Hope you are having a great day! 😀
I have a super cute project to share with you today. Kim Score had designed a wonderful treat bag with these precious gingerbread people for her project over at INK4U! I didn’t have any bags to use … so I tweaked the design to make a gift card holder instead … added the gingerbread couple and … this is what I came up with!
You can see how the note card slips in behind the gingerbread couple. They are glued to the inside of the front part of the pocket. You can add a gift card here … and hide it inside the pocket. 😀 Kim had used the ric rac die and cut her accents from cardstock. But … I didn’t have the die … so I went rummaging in my ribbon stash … and found some REAL ric rac! The “look” of the project is similar to Kim’s … but the actual basis of the design is different. If you want to know how to do the original project ( a really ‘neat’ gift bag) … then you can still register for INK4U! Christmas 2011 and have access to Kim’s design.
Well … I have lots to do this morning … and then the girls and I are going out for lunch with my mum later! So … I had better get moving! 😀 Hugs xx
This is so cute Andrea. I will just have to make these little people!!
Have a happy week!
Love Jenny x

– Please don’t feel slack, Gabbi! If anyone knows how life can be a little tricky to balance … it is certainly me! I am learning to be less chained to my computer & posting & blog hopping. As much as I enjoy it … there are other things that need my attention, too! 🙂 It is nice to know you read … even if you don’t have the time to stop! 😀 Thanks for saying hi today! Hugs xx
I feel so slack that haven’t been commenting on your blog. I read each post when it hits the inbox, but haven’t been making the time to add a comment (and if I don’t do it straight away … well it doesn’t get done!) So, I apologise! The calendar is full at the moment, something big each day… it is a busy, but very exciting, time of year!
It was nice to catch a glimpse of you at last Thursday’s meeting. We were a bit late because we talked Jess (my niece) into driving us on her L’s (she has only had them for 2 weeks & loves the oportunity to drive!). Tongarra’s hall is pretty impressive. Cordeaux is hoping to get their keys any day!!
Anyway, I do love this card – your gingerbread couple is very cute!! Love the whole idea!
Hope you are doing well – enjoy lunch out today!

Good enuf to eat Andrea….so to speak. Craftingly delish. I am yet to tackle these lil guys (sadly like most of the other Ink4U things) but it is on the list to tackle. If mine turn out even as 1/2 as cute as urs I am on a winner.
– Aren’t they just adorable! Our lunch was really lovely … how can it not be wonderful … with princess Bree there!!! 😉 She loves going to a girls lunch! Hugs xx
Hope you have a wonderful Lowcock Ladies Lunch. ooxx

– Thanks Helen! 3 in the last couple of weeks have been such a thrill for me! I dream of being on a challenge DT … but if I can’t do that … a win for the challenges is certainly a lovely ‘runner up’ ribbon! Hugs xx
PS Congrats on your recent challenge wins!
