For a Sweet Friend!

I figure … if it is going to be this cold & miserable for Christmas … then it may as well snow!

Hi there bloggies!

Another quick post … before I go and make some cookies for the office staff at school. This was a birthday card I made for a sweet blog friend … someone I have never met in person … but we still share a lovely bond of friendship. She has had a few health struggles lately … and some busy work circumstances … so she definitely needed some spoiling for her birthday.

Isn’t this DSP absolutely scrummy!!! I have been envying our US friends who had access to these papers months ago. But … it is now here in AUS! It is called Spice Cake … and I just love it! One of the colours is the new ‘Pool Party’ … and it is so easy to combine patterns to create a gorgeous card. And … the lovely sentiment is a special compliment to my blog friend! (You may need to click on photo to enlarge & read the phrase!)

Well … better get to those cookies! C U soon! (Fingers crossed!) Oh … and thanks for the lovely comments! I will be back asap to reply & “approve”.  Hugs xx

  1. Lovely card, I do love Spice Cake, even though it is in colours that are not usually my fav, something about the combo is really appealing. Think it is the pool party in the papers and the lovely patterns that makes it. The papers look great on this card.

    – I think it would be rather dull without the Pool Party! The combo is just lovely! Hugs xx
