Soft Snowflakes

Hi there!

Well … aren’t we on the countdown now! 😀 Less than a week to Christmas. Finally I am feeling ALMOST organised. Still have cooking & bookwork to do … but most other things are now done! (Just finishing off writing my Christmas cards!) 🙄 😉

This was one of my “bulk cards” for Christmas this year! I made 6 of these in 3 different colours! There is NOTHING tricky about this one … but it ended up one of my favs! I think it is the soft colours??? I do love this new Pool Party / Island Indigo combo. And … the other 2 colours were just as pretty! If you would like a reminder about how to create the “no tie bow” … then click on the link to view directions.

I thought I might pop this into the SUO challenge that arrived in my inbox recently. The challenge is to create a card that celebrates a December holiday … and expresses joy & cheer. I think this sentiment expresses this well! 😀

Well … better go get those patients entered … or Gav will have nothing to do tomorrow! C U all again soon! Hugs xxx

    – I am gradually getting on top of things, Gabbi! (Although … yesterday was ‘one of those days’!) Today I am determined to get all my bookwork up to date … with the help of the girls! And … then I can start my cooking and relax a little! 😀 So … I had better keep moving! Hope you are enjoying some time with the little elves … and there is lots of fun & excitement in your house! Hugs xx

Another stunner Andrea. I do love the soft subtle colours too. Bonding with the new In Colours is one of my New Year’s Resolutions. Still not really moved by them…but 2012 is a new page….right???
I am at the point where organisation is totally over-rated and I am gunna just do what I can and hope folks will u’stand. I have not even started writing my cards yet!!!
Have fun entering the patients. ooxx
    – Hi Lynda! I want you to know … I don’t expect a card … TRULY!!! I would rather you have a little “me time”! OKAY????? I MEAN THAT!!! So … if you know others who feel the same … do yourself a favour … and don’t stress about your cards! (I have to say … this is the ‘pot calling the kettle black’ … but at least mine are now in the mail!!!) 😉 🙂 Take care hunny! We don’t want any more of that “misbehaving”! Glad you liked this one! – Phew! And … here we are complaining about the cold start to summer! We have barely had a day over 22! And … plenty of rain, too! 😦 Skye & Sandy haven’t been for a surf all holidays! But … I will stop whinging … because 39 is not conducive to getting things done! Well done on getting your cards done … mine are also in the mail today! 🙂 Hugs xx

These are all simply stunning, Andrea! I love ALL the colors but, being partial to blue, I’d have to say the Pool Party/Island Indigo combo is my fave. This is a perfect addition at SUO Challenges – thanks so much for joining us!
    – Hi Cindy! Thanks for popping by to encourage! These are so simple … but rather pretty and eye-catching! Hugs xx
