Oooh … I stamped!

Hi bloggies!

Yes … I should have been doing invoices … but instead I stamped!!! Ooooh! 😯 I am off to Gav’s mum’s today … for “ladies day”! My 2 s-i-l’s, my m-i-l & Stace & Bree will be there … and ladies day means “relax”! We will have a nice chat … yummy lunch … and just chill out. And … I am sure I will get some “Bruddles” (Bree Cuddles) – as Lynda calls them! I don’t really have the time for a day out … but I also need to recognise that these special relationships are much more important than WORK!!! 😀 I was determined to get up early and do my invoices before I left … but sadly ( 😉 ) I couldn’t resist a quick stamp. I saw the new challenge from Freshly Made Sketches over on Kim’s blog … and JUST HAD ( 😉 ) to try it!

Now … isn’t this a yummy colour combo! I have to admit to borrowing this combo from Marelle. I popped by her blog yesterday … and found THIS set of cards … and immediately fell in love with the combo. Not one I would ever have put together … but I think it is so bright and fun! The stamp set is a BRAND NEWIE … from Verve! This is the first inking … and I am just loving this gorgeous butterfly! Apparently there is a die for this stamp … why didn’t I realise that when I did my order??? DUH! 🙄

Ok … can’t procrastinate any longer! Hope to see you soon! Hugs xxx

I am always willing to take the blame for lost work time if cardmaking is involved!! I LOVE what you have done with it – the colors are gorgeous…love the effect on the butterfly.

Hope you have a wonderful ladies day with lots of conversation, laughter and bruddles!
Andrea adds: Yes! You are such a bad influence, Kim! 🙄 😀 Who wouldn’t rather do stamping than cardmaking??? Unfortunately … the bookwork is still sitting there when the card is finished!!! 😉 Hugs xxx

Woohoo! You got to stamp! And a lovely job at that. Besides, some times, we just need to clear our minds to tackle those invoices. What better way to do that than a little stamping?! Nice job! (((Hugs to you)))
Andrea adds: Hi Leslee! Thanks for making me feel better! Stamping is much more fun than invoices. Hugs xxx
