My bloggies are the best! I am always discovering new and exciting blogs and challenges at their suggestion … and the latest one is over at Cardabilities! I loved this sketch as soon as I saw it … and had to try it out! Thanks Sandra for the tip! 😀
A lovely friend of ours got engaged over the weekend … so even though Valentine’s has now passed … I thought I would still go with the love theme of the challenge … and decided this card would make a pretty engagement card (with an appropriate sentiment inside!) I finally opened my recent SU! order … and inked up a couple of the free Saleabration stamp sets! They teamed really well for the card. The images are coloured using the ink to rubber technique! Use your marker to colour the stamp … give it a little huff to moisten it … and then stamp! Simple! 😀
So … we had a lovely extended weekend away … the weather was a bit mixed but not miserable. Tuesday was absolutely gorgeous! Gav, Sandy & Skye had a few opportunities to surf and some of the others had a try too! 😀 I had plenty of Bruddles (Bree cuddles) and even had some time with her to myself while her mum & dad were down at the beach! She is such a treasure! 😀 The only prob about time away (and no computer) is that I have HEAPS of comments to reply to!!! 😀 Actually it’s far from being a problem … I just LOVE the blog love that you all leave here for me! I am off now to reply to them all! 🙂 Take care … and hopefully I will see you tomorrow! (Bookwork day … but I might sneak in some stamping time first! grin 😉 ) Hugs xxx
