Back again … but … busy catching up!

Hi bloggies!

Well … I have been itching to get here since we got home on Monday night … but a few things needed my attention before I could even think about stamping! I had patient files to attend to (still catching up) … and I had to clean, dust & price all the goodies I am selling for my car boot sale … at our school’s Country Fair this Saturday. I still have a mountain of bookwork sitting in my tray … still to do … so I really shouldn’t be here … but I indulged myself a little this morning … and made a card for the latest Cardabilities challenge! Here is my design …

The colours were chosen quickly from a pile of scraps that I hadn’t got around to “filing” yet. I call this my ‘Big Shot’ card … did you notice … NO STAMPING!!! I am excited to have a couple of new goodies from the coming mini catty … and decided to put them together with some of my stash of BS accessories! A little ribbon and some gorgeous Silver 1/2 pearls … and voila! Sorry … gotta fly … so much to do! Take care! Oh … and I will fill you in on my holiday … as soon as I have some time to spare! We had a wonderful time … and it is so hard coming back to the real world! Hugs xxx

Sounds like you are busy and have lots of fun in store for this weekend. We have been blessed, yes I say blessed with some gorgeous out of the ordinary very rare SUMMER weather here this week. Unfortunately the climatic winter is not over just yet and we could face some more blustery winter before true summer arrives. The problem with that is the buds have popped and fruit trees could be damaged beyond a possible harvest. But God is good and maybe that won’t happen.

Personally (wink) I have written a book about my dragon tales if you catch my drift. All ends happily ever after as I said God is good and it was a wake up call for me. Hugs my friend~Donna
Andrea adds: Oh … must reply to your email. Just wanted to do it justice! Thanks for sharing with me! Yes … a busy weekend. I am hanging out for next week … so I can get back into a normal routine! Thanks for your enthusiastic response to my card! I am having withdrawals from stamping … MUST get some done soon! Hugs xxx

These colours are just divine & it such a sweet design Andrea, no-one would ever guess it was inspired by your “scrap” pile. Love the “swarm/rabble” of butterflies. Hugs 🙂
Andrea adds: Yes … sometimes it is just easier to reach for whatever is sitting on your desk! 😉 Hugs xxx
