A “Magic Card”!

Hi there bloggies!

I was just scrolling through my recent posts … and realised I had done a lot of nattering … but not many cards! I guess my excuse is computer probs … combined with lots happening in my life (& no time for card making) … BUT … I am trying to get back into a routine … so I hope there will be less blethering and more cards! 😉

Today’s card is a design that I discovered on Kim’s blog this week! Kim calls it a Magic Card … so I will go with that!!! 😀 She has even taken the time to pop a tutorial on Splitcoaststampers … that was so clear in its instructions that even a dummy like me could follow it! Julie & I put our heads together on Tuesday … and worked it out!

Did you notice the M-A-G-I-C??? Yes … it is a slider card BUT … check out the roses in the two photos!  … MAGIC!!! 😀 So clever! The colour appears as you pull out the slider part! 😀 I used my Prismas to add the colour … I think I am getting a little better at adding highlights & shading … particularly on smaller images! This was an old retired wedding set from SU! and I thought it would be nice for an anniversary card!

Well … it is Saturday … and Gav is chasing cows! We have had 2 deliveries lately … but the fences aren’t quite up to scratch … so he is working on that this morning! I plan to do some end of month invoicing that I don’t want to leave until Monday … and then … I am going to MAKE SOME CARDS!!!! Yippee! I hope you all have a lovely weekend. 🙂 Oops! I called the stamp set “Life’s Special Moments” on my recipe! It should read “Life’s Beautiful Moments”! 🙄
