Hi bloggies!
I hope you have all had a lovely weekend. We had the most gorgeous weather … and then topped it off with a delicious storm last night! The lightening was lighting up the stained glass windows at church so amazingly! 😀 But … it’s okay … I wasn’t distracted from the sermon! I have a fab ‘guy’ card today for the latest Cardabilities Sketch #52. I have made this for my son-i-l’s b’day on Wednesday … sssssssshhhhh!!! … don’t tell him!
This is one of my fav combos for male cards. Bright, fresh … but not too girly! I do need to find some new ‘male’ images … I tend to reach for my guitar or surf stamps … without much variety! I love all the little elements of this sketch! Ok … my little heart (surfboard) element is slightly B-I-G … but it is popped right where it is supposed to be!!! 😉 The surfer & waves have been embossed using white embossing powder just to add a little more dimension!
Anyway … off to do some bookwork! I do hope you will pop by the Cardabilities Blog and join in the fun! And … don’t forget … from April to June I will be a guest DT member … and I would really love it if you could support the challenges over at Cardabilities!

Andrea adds: I really struggle for inspiration for “man” cards! I am not a traditional boat/tree/tool kinda gal … but there is a limit to how much I can use a surfer, too!? 🙄 But … this did come together nicely! Hugs xxx
