Cardabilities – My first Guest DT card!

Hi bloggies!

I am very excited to be chosen as a guest DT member for the Cardabilities Challenges for the next 3 months! I do hope you will pop by and play along with these fortnightly challenges!

It is such a lovely group of gals … and I know you are going to love the sketches! It is a bonus … that you have 2 weeks to play along with each challenge! I for one … am happy … because I am forever missing deadlines! This was a great challenge to start with!

I felt that this sketch needed some pretty DSP combos. It was lovely to pull out my ‘much loved’ Cottage Wall DSP … an oldie but a goodie! My little leaf element of the sketch … is actually a stamped blossom from the Thanks for Caring set! I have also added a little vellum butterfly on top of the 5 petal flower! And … for the record … there is NO Iridescent Ice on this one! I am trying to resist the urge to use it on every card. 😉 Hope you are all having a nice day … and I really hope you get a chance to play along with this challenge! I would really appreciate your support! Hugs xxx

PS: I have scheduled this post for Wed morning … I will be away for most of the day for Sandy’s surgery! I will let you know tomorrow how he got on!

Added Later: Patrice from “52 Card Pickup” has invited me to link this to this week’s PICK-UP! What a lovely compliment … and I am so touched by your kindness, Patrice! I will make sure I check out the other fab ‘pick-ups’! xxx

This is very pretty Andrea & I love how you have used the floral sprigs from the TFC set for the greenery. A wonderful inspiration card for your DT spot. The two week challenge deadline is a fantastic idea, as I usually struggle getting cards in on time too. It usually happens at the eleventh hour, lol! So no excuses for me not playing along, is there?
Hope Sandy is doing okay today. Hugs 🙂
Andrea adds: Thanks for asking hun! Sandy is doing really well! It is amazing … how well he has come through the operation! Hugs xxx

Andrea adds: Hi Patrice! So nice to meet you … I love meeting new blog friends! I am a little confused about the ‘link up’! Do you want me to link this card??? Or … create another & link it for your pick up??? I think I will perhaps link this one … and hope that is okay??? Thanks so much for the invitation … it is a thrill! Hugs xxx
