5 minute post!

Hi bloggies!

A little tired … and it is way past my bedtime … but just wanted to do a 5 minute post! Acknowledgement for this goes to my blog friend, Kim … whose card caught my eye … and I couldn’t resist CASE-ing this one! I needed a quick congratulations card for my nephew who won a “Spirit of ANZAC” award on ANZAC day (well done, Adam!!!) and this fitted the bill perfectly.

I was a little annoyed with myself because even though I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to position the sentiments … I must have missed putting the stamp on properly and the 4th one is a little crooked! 😦

Bree was such a delight today … so happy and so much personality! I got lots of Bruddles. And … I did manage to get some bookwork done! Off to bed I go! I still have lots to show you … so I hope to see you as soon as I have some free time! Oh … and BIG apology … I am so far behind with my blog hopping AGAIN … I really am going to have to re-think the number of blog subs that I have!!! 😦 xxx

I love Kim’s original design & you have cased it beautifully Andrea! The colours are gorgeous (my current personal faves) & the silver half pearls add a perfect bit of male bling! Congratulations to your nephew on his award! Hugs 🙂
PS How is Sandy going with his nose?

      Hi Helen!
Thanks so much for asking! Sandy is doing really well. The doc is really pleased with the alignment and how the bone “snapped” so easily back into place in the op! I still feel like that bottom of his nose is a little crooked but being cartilage there isn’t anything they can do about this. Hopefully as he grows and his nose lengthens … it might straighten out a little! The swelling went down after the op really quickly … and the splint dropped off after about 24 hours! So … he even managed b’day photos without the splint! Actually … it dropped off so quickly … that I didn’t get a photo of him with the splint! He came through the anaesthetic like a breeze! So … all good … except he is missing the first 3 matches of his basketball season … hasn’t been able to train with the school soccer team … and may miss the next rugby gala day … if his mum gets her way!!! 😉 Take care, hunny! Hope all is well with you! Hugs xxx

Thanks for the update Andrea. Great news to hear that all is going well & that Sandy coped admirably with the anaesthetic. A few sport free weeks should go by quickly & will all be worth it in the long run. Thank you, all is well here. Hugs xo

I am so glad that I could provide inspiration – and you have taken it to a whole different level – I LOVE the angled panel. It’s SO fun and creative!

(I hear you on the number of blog subs…every so often I sit down and, with a heavy heart, delete a few but then I always end up finding more new ones than I originally deleted! It’s an addiction and I don’t know how to stop!)
