Hi bloggies!
Me & my stamping buddies get together every month for a stamping day. It is always a FAB time together … and gives me an excuse to stop in my busy week and actually stamp! It also gives me something to show YOU!!! 😀 (Lately … I have been scratching a bit … due to very little stamping time!) Anyway … one of my friends has purchased a wonderful tutorial from Deanna Tam … and we were trying out a couple of the designs … to see if they would be suitable as M&Ts for her next workshop. My buddy was a little stuck for ideas … and it was good to be able to help her plan her class! (Thanks Deanna … for the inspiration!) I will have to pop by and check out your project tutorials for myself!
This is a credit card size gift card holder and has a neat little inside pocket to enable the card to slide in and out easily. But … no card recipe today … I don’t have the details … and … it is Deanna’s tutorial … so if you want to know more … check out her 12 days of Christmas projects tutorial for purchase by PDF downloads! I made the birthday one … and then decided I would definitely have a use for one at Christmas tie … so quickly put another together! Yep! A great project for a class to create … and a great “upseller” … cos it uses punches … a Big Shot & Die & ribbons & embellies! I do hope my friend’s class girls liked this one! 🙂
I am off to take my mum out for lunch with a friend, too! (Bookwork will have to wait until tomorrow!) Another milestone … since Dad’s passing … their anniversary. It will be nice to share some time with her! Take care every one … and have a great day!

I do really like these darl’n…but I must be slightly more THICK today. Does the tag open up to reveal the gift card inside???? (like the ribbon slip off etc)

Hi gorgun! This is actually a pocket … it doesn’t open up … as such … but there is a little trick to making it a little wider than just a double tag. The silver flower brad was added later to cover some grass stains … a few of my cards fell out of my bag onto the freshly cut lawn! 😦 Hugs xxx

Wow! I love the new look of your blog, I almost thought I was in the wrong place! 🙂 I love the purple.. we should submit it to SU for next year’s in color! 🙂 I love all these fabulous pockets, they would make awesome bookmarks, That pretty in pink polka dot ribbon is AWESOME.. i’m going to have to get some of that!
