Hi again bloggies! (2nd post for today)
I had a little interruption to my blogging today … but here I am … back … as promised with a card! This is another that we made at one of our recent friendship & stamping days … using a new ‘fav’ “Bordering on Romance” stamp set. I had my mum in mind for this one … made before mother’s day! I know how much she loves blue!
Isn’t this a beautiful design? It was based on a tutorial over at Splitcoast Stampers for a technique called “double embossing“. Beate has created a fab video tutorial for this special card! We loved the way she added the frame around the flower … so we copied that idea as well. The design is the same as Beate’s … but the details are a little different. My card recipe … at the end of this post … is quite detailed. I hope it is a help … if you would like to make one too!
I was pretty tickled with the result. It was a little fiddly … but well worth the effort! I have an extra Bree day this week … due to Jono’s uni exams … so with 3 days of Bruddles ahead … I probably will be MIA again for a few days!

I don’y know why but this sets always captivatres my attention and i have come to realize that it is so versatile and every card I see with it is so different. I love what you did with the soft cloud of blue enveloping the image. Miss oyu and so sorry I have been MIA too! Hugs~Donna

What is it with Lowcock women and blue???? I sense such a strong affinity!!! This card is magical Andrea and I am sure was a massive hit with your Mum. I just love it. ooxx PS…Pls pass on my congrats to Leonie too…her card is FAB as well.
