Festive Friday #24

on

Hi bloggies!

First day of holidays … and I am determined to get a head start on my invoices for the month. Sheree is up at a teacher conference for two days at the Blue Mountains … Skye is off to work … but Shane is here to keep Sandy occupied! This card is for the latest Festive Friday challenge … a product challenge … to use Fabric! Now I have to admit to having NO SU! fabric. (Shock!) I went rummaging through my sewing stash for something to use! Here is what I came up with ……

So … not my finest hour. 😉 I had plenty of Christmas fabric … some really pretty … but I took the LAZY 🙄 way out and used some that had squares with different Xmas pictures … and mounted one of these on some stiff card to use as the centrepiece for the card! I am disappointed 😦 with myself for being so lazy … because I had some wonderful ideas for this challenge … but in the end … was too tired to put them together! If I find the time … I will try a 2nd entry! Have a great day … off to do my bookwork!

Just had to add … Donna Z helped me find the designer of the pleated dress card in my previous post! And … even better … Petronela has a video tutorial on how to make it! SO EASY! Click here … to visit YESTERDAY’S POST … with the links for Petronela’s blog.

Definitely NOT “lazy” Andrea, when you have made a pretty card which has the cute fabric panel, the embossed panel, the hand-coloured image & perfectly tied ribbon TOO! Lots of work has gone into your project! That scallop wreath is a really neat trick BTW & a perfect size for your image. Hugs 🙂
Shock! Horror! I don’t have any SU fabric either, lol! We’d better rectify that! *wink*

Darl….NO ONE in the crafting universe can accuse you of eing lazy or slack. I am in total agreeance with Helen. There are so many cute wee features to your card…it is fantabulous. I wouldn’t call your card a lazy one, seeing as you have more than one layer lol, and a cute wreath is a lovely addition too.
