You all know how much I L-O-V-E SU! goodies … when it comes to stamping! I have seen a sneak peek of the next mini catty … and it looks fantabulous. (I have to start putting some $$$ aside for that one!) I am missing being part of the SU! family (as a demo) … but in the last 12 months or so … I have been very keen to try some of the products I have seen being used by some of my lovely blog friends! You are all such a B-A-D influence on me! A bad influence … yet … so inspiring! I finally succumbed (thanks to Monika) to subscribing to the Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients card kit a couple of weeks ago. This is a 3 month sub … for a super price! And … as suggested … all the KEY INGREDIENTS for a card are there! This is what I got in the mail for my 1st month …
The papers alone are a gorgeous ‘spring board’ for making a card. The colours are so fun and fresh … and summery! (Sigh … if only it were summer here … I am over the cold weather!) Sorry about the ‘fluro’ look to the kit photo … the colours are a bit too ‘saturated’! I don’t know what happened?? 😯 IRL … these colours are just yummy! This is my first attempt of a card … in a long while … (a few days is a ‘LONG WHILE’ in a stampers life!!! … but it has been 2 or 3 weeks for me!)
I think I mentioned to Melissa yesterday … the more I blog hop … the more I realise how little mojo I have had lately! 😦 Even when I finally found the time to stamp on Saturday (yes … I made 4 cards) … I found it such a struggle to put things together! So … I guess a card kit is a good way to get the juices flowing … when you are suffering from lack of mojo! Taylor has single kits … as well as her 3 month subscription kits. What fun … my month 2 kit should arrive any day now … it is exciting to see what is in each kit when it arrives!
I wish I had added a lot more depth to the cupcake … with more colour. It seems a little ‘insipid’ next to the bright funky paper! Oh well! 😀 I hope to share another card using this kit tomorrow! I think I am a little happier with the 2nd … but the mojo is still being elusive! 😉 I think I just need to stamp a little more often!!! 😉 Don’t you??? 😀
This is a gorgeous card, Andrea.
I’m sharing your lack of time to enjoy the finer things in life – like creating, and ‘wasting’ hours checking out blogs etc….
Enjoy each day as it comes, and roll with the times…. I’ve learnt not to fight it and just try to enjoy keeping up with it!
Can’t believe three weeks of holidays have come & gone. I’ve enjoyed spent extra time with the kids!!!
Have a great day.

What a great idea to spark the creativity – the kit looks great & the colours are yummy! I think your card is very sweet & I like the cupcake just as it is, Andrea. Your shading is fantastic. I was just saying to Bron that my pencils are feeling a bit unloved at present. Must rectify that situation! Hugs 🙂

Woo hoo….got here!!! I have not indulged much in kits….but I really like what you have done with it. The CE on the icing is delish.
4 cards in one day….boaster….LOL!!! I dream of such. So sorry to hear you have a fleeting case of mojo interruptus at present. Lets hope that it is relieved soon. ooxx
