Well … hello! 🙂 I am so out of routine with my stamping and blogging … that they seem now to fall in my “finally I have a few minutes to spare” TO DO list … rather than my “before I start that job I should do first” TO DO list! I used to procrastinate with the necessary … but … at the moment I do need to prioritize … and it is cramping my style BIG TIME! (Both creatively and desiredly!) Is that a word??? 😉 😀 🙄 😀
But … last night I made a card. I should have been having an early night … after a few days of not being well … and pushing myself a little too much … BUT instead … I made a CARD! I had this adorable, brand-new stamp set … sitting on my desk … willing me to ink it up! I succumbed!!! 😀
I spent quite some time watercolouring all these images. It was very therapeutic … to say the least. I also discovered that confetti white card stock is quite good for watercolouring! Isn’t this just the cutest image? I have to confess to finding a new supplier … whilst scouring the internet for Twinkle goosebumps. I only bought 1 set … I promise!!! 😉 Of course … I had to add some Iridescent Ice … because I was having withdrawals!!! 😀
This card was inspired by one that Helen had on her blog recently. Her ORIGINAL CARD was a flower pot card (the flowers pull out as an insert card!!!) … and then she went one step further … and mounted it onto a centre step card. I really want you to go and have a look … because it is fabulous! Helen has added a link to a tutorial for the flower pot card & a link for a template for the centre step card on her blog post.
If you decided to create one for yourself … please make sure you visit Helen … and thank her for the effort she put into creating these resources and for sharing them with us all! She is such a sweetie! 😀
I have spent today baking for the engagement party … which is tomorrow night. Gav’s mum was here … and a change of plans meant that I was “Bree-Free” … so we achieved a huge amount. I am pleased to say … it was all done by 3pm this afternoon … so … I have an evening off tonight!! Hhhmmm … perhaps I will get to stamp again?! Or … have that early night I missed out on last night!? Or spend some time with Skye … who hasn’t been here all week!? We shall see! Thanks for putting up with my ramblings today! It just kinda rolled out on the key board! 😀 Hugs xxx
PS: For the record …. NO … the mojo is NOT back … this was just a momentary fluke!!! 😉 😀
Gorgeous! Gorgeous! Love all that extra sparkle

Hi Andrea, glad you chose to stamp & share this card with us, even though the early night might have been a good idea for you. Hope you are feeling better! I can see why you succumbed to that image, it really is adorable. Love the soft colours &, of course, the sparkle, lol! I find watercolouring very relaxing too & it’s always a bonus to have a bit of quiet, crafting time, as well as end up with a pretty creation like this. Glad my card inspired you & thank you so much for the huge shout out! ♥ Hugs 🙂
