It is my s-i-l-2-b’s birthday today! (Did you get that acronym – SON-in-law-to-be?) But … I haven’t made his card yet … so I can’t show it to you! 😉 How slack am I? Don’t worry … I will have one ready for tonight … when I see him! Instead … and because I am in a bit of a hurry (AGAIN!!!!!) … I am sharing a card that Leonie & I CASED at our stamping day last week with Jenny & Tracey! This idea originally came from Dawn Griffith … although … I didn’t use her ribbon idea for the flower! I used DSP instead!
Yes! The sentiment is a little dodgy! (Crooked) I am definitely getting myself some of the guides for the clear blocks – that I saw demo-ed on Kay’s blog – in my next order! The DSP is added to the back of the punched flower hole … and this is hidden by the card base once it is stuck on! Leonie’s gel pen was flowing well … so thankfully the white border was a breeze. Usually I fight to get my gel pens to run properly and end up with a messy line! Quick, easy & lotsa fun! Leonie loved it so much … she had to CASE mine! 🙂 And … I think she will be sharing it with her class girls sometime soon!?

Well … I had better go and get that card made for Muz! And … I have a load of bookwork still to do … even though it is NOT bookwork day! And … an appt at 1.30pm. I had better fly! Take care … have a fun day!
LOVE the DP behind the punched flower….very cool!

Catching up on all my commenting!!!! Snap to you….I have this in my ‘gunna’ file too. Love it with the DSP. You and Leonie have done a FAB job. I also love the wee BOR stamp around the sentiment. Really sweet. Well done both of you. ooxx

A great card and love the flower with the DSP behind (prefer that to the ribbon idea I have seen elsewhere)xx

Love this card. I like how the DSP is featured behind the punch out. Thanks for sharing 🙂

Very cute cards Andrea! You made me laugh (thank you) with your dodgy crooked sentiment comment, because I made a dodgy card yesterday that has crooked layers AND a sentiment that only half stamped. Not happy Jan ;-).
