My dear blog friend Lynda is always here to encourage and wave my fan club flag! She holds “top spot” for the number of comments on my blog … and I am so grateful for her lovely warm and sincere comments! You are a sweetie, Lynda! Thank you! I saw this WONDERFUL card on her blog recently … and it went straight into my “to CASE” file. I couldn’t wait to try it … and was determined it wouldn’t take 2 years (as was the case with my card yesterday) to make it! <– This is Lynda’s gorgeous creation … I wanted you to see the original. All the details can be found on her blog “1,2,3 … Easy PC”
So … there are a couple of subtle differences on my card. Lynda used some gorgeous crotchet-ed hearts behind her birds … and as I didn’t have any of these … I substituted with die cut hearts using the same DSP as the border. I also didn’t notice the background stamping on my poor printed sheet that I was working from … so neglected this lovely element. But … generally … this is pretty much a straight CASE! Thanks Lynda for sharing this wonderful card! Skye was in need of a wedding card the weekend after I made this … so it has already been put to good use.
Hoping to catch up on some blog hopping tomorrow while Bree is playing! See you soon! Hugs xxx
Thanks so much for the shout out…and it is returned with a deep shade of BLUSH!!! I love, love LOVE your version. The Parisian Breeze DSP is PERFECT on this….and your embossed hearts delish. Brilliantly done hunni.(I can only hope that yours went together a little more quickly than mine…hee hee hee ooxx)
