A non-trad Christmas!

The first thing you will notice about this Christmas card is the NON-TRAD colours! I have actually used some Christmas papers … the colours in the papers are a lovely combination … but definitely different to the usual colours! I pulled the soft pink out of the paper designs … and used that as a base!

Another thing you probably noticed is the delicate, fragile wreath die that I used for the main feature on the card! It is amazingly detailed … and it took a couple of runs to get the right sandwich for the Big Shot. You do need a little extra thickness to make sure the cut is defined & complete. I added a couple of shims (backing card from SU! DSP) It is such a pretty die cut! I also finally purchased some snowflake dies recently … only to find that SU! has finally included them in the Aussie catty this year! Well … I still have MORE male cards to share … but thought I would break it up with this pretty Christmas Card. I did have a couple of female birthday cards to do this week … so once I find the time to do the card recipes … I will share those too! I had better get off the computer … there is a doozy thunderstorm happening at the moment! We are supposed to get more storms & 100km winds tonight. Best place will be in bed … but I won’t settle until all my chickens are home! 🙂
